Övriga namn, ergonymer eller krematonymer? : Krematonymiens plass i nordisk navnegransking

This article is devoted to chrematonomastics, the youngest subdiscipline of onomastics, which studies names of objects of material and immaterial culture. The paper’s primary objective is to examine different definitions and classifications of the key term chrematonym as proposed by Nordic and Slavic researches. Furthermore, the author suggests introducing the term krematonym into Scandinavian onomastics. The article also provides an overview of papers devoted to different kinds of Nordic chrematonyms, i.e. names of small businesses, machines and vehicles.
