This subsection of the publishing policy lists the terms of eligibility for books hosted on this platform.

• Books hosted on this platform must be published in one of the book series associated with Uppsala University, or approved for publication by one of its departments.
• Decision about editorial matters rests entirely with the editors appointed to lead the publishing activities of the book series mentioned above. (If you are writing an academic book and wish to use this platform, please contact one of the series editors listed here and here.)
• Authors unaffiliated to Uppsala University are welcome to use this platform for books approved for publication by the series editors listed above.
• Books distributed on this platform must conform to the policies for peer review, open access and ethical publishing outlined in the other subsections listed under Publishing Policy. The publishing policy is based on the best practices for ethical and transparent academic publishing outlined by COPE.
