Author Biographies

Maria Håkansson Ramberg, Department of Education, Uppsala University

has a PhD in German and is a lecturer at the Department of Education at Uppsala University. Her research explores validity in language testing, classroom assessment, and language learning/teaching. She is involved in teacher education and provides professional development for language teachers.

Berta González Guarro

is a eacher of  Spanish in lower secondary school in Uppsala. Berta also works as a journalist. She has  carried out a didactic research-based development project on authentic material and motivation in Spanish as a foreign language.

Klara Hansson

is a teacher of Spanish in lower secondary school in Uppsala. Klara is additionally a teacher of Swedish. They have carried out a didactic research-based development project on authentic material and motivation in Spanish as a foreign language.

Fredrika Nyström, Department of Modern Languages; Romance Languages, Uppsala University

is a PhD student in language education at Uppsala University. Her research interests are primarily teaching and learning of oral skills in foreign languages. She is also working as a language teacher in secondary school. Institutional affiliations: Department of Education, Uppsala University and Äppelviksskolan, Stockholm.
